Bernd Gundermann has been awarded this year's Global Award for Sustainable Architecture in Paris. The ceremony in the Cité de l'Architecture was part of LOCUS Foundation's conference. Bernd's lecture on Adaptive Urbanism, which found resounding applause, also let Europe know about the establishment of Urbia Group. Beside Bernd four colleagues were awarded as well: Tatiana Bilbao, Mexico City, Martin Rajnis, Prague, West8, Rotterdam, and Christopher Alexander, who unfortunately couldn't attend, for his lifetime achievements.
