As a permanent member of the Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers (IFGR) Bernd travelled to Montreal, Quebec, for the second session of the think tank. Hosted by Port Montreal the college assisted to develop a sustainable growth strategy for the future of the port, the city of Montreal, and the Saint Lawrence River. This session focussed particularly on risk culture and new energy models with regards of rivers. More information available here.
The IFGR's next session will take place in the Rhône valley, France, in October 2016.
