This morning Bernd presented Urbia Group's unique way to environmentally sound resilience to Auckland Council's Environment, Climate Change and Natural Heritage Committee. Invited by the committee's Chairman Cr Wayne Walker this was a perfect opportunity to implement our thinking prior to the council's workshop about sea-level rise taking place this afternoon.
Beside working with Waterfront Auckland, another member of the council family, this presentation marks the begin of a long-term work relationship intended to make Auckland resilient to the effects of Climate Change. Urbia Group's approach achieving this together with both recovering maritime biodiversity and improving coastal lifestyle is a perfect match with the Mayor's goal to make Auckland "the world's most liveable city."
